April is National Poetry Month and in its honor, I thought I’d share a poem from one of my favorite childhood poets, Shel Silverstein. It’s a fun website, take a peek HERE.
As someone who received their degree in interior design, it’s safe to say that I fully support the arts. Music, theater, dance, poetry, creative writing, art, sculpture…they all contribute in enriching our lives. As does interior design. Study after study show how well designed interior spaces make people happier, healthier and more productive. What an amazing job I have. It’s work that matters.
“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
Have a fabulous week, everyone!
