Ruxana Oosman is an interior designer based in central Vermont. Ruxana has always had a passion for design. She received her BA in Interior Design and her extensive world travels, combined with her years of professional experience, have cultivated her understanding of a vast array of design styles and a keen eye for interior architecture. She enjoys creating warm, inviting homes that welcome family & friends….spaces that are stylish and comfortable; classic yet livable.

RHEA played a pivotal role at RHILL for the past three years. In addition to building our client portal and revising our systems, she deftly navigated us through the unpredictability of the pandemic. Rhea remains a dear friend and advisor, but she’s embarking on a new path with a new business: The Center for Conscious Living and Conscious Dying. As a certified end-of-life doula, Rhea provides planning (at any stage of life), nonmedical support, and bereavement care.
SARA interned with me during her senior year of high school, and I am THRILLED to have her back! She not only handles all our marketing but also serves in the trenches as our design assistant. Sara’s a native Vermonter and it shows – when she’s not working she’s skiing, hiking, biking, or enjoying life as a newlywed. She’s an organizer at heart and loves to create calm from chaos.
JESS is our most recent team member. Jess graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design in 2012. She expertly handles our procurement and expediting. Ordering and patiently tracking an entire home’s worth of furniture, fabrics, and accessories is a special talent.
CAROL has been my Virtual Assistant for the past 4 years. She handles everything on our sister site, A Well Designed Home. She juggles everything from video editing to graphic design and she does it effortlessly.
SONJA has been our draftswoman and rendering artist since 2020. Her ability to take my design concepts and turn them into a photorealistic rendering isn’t just a skill, it’s a talent.
KAREN joined us as a bookkeeper in 2023. Karen is a New Orleans native and Colorado transplant with a degree in accounting. She is hyper-organized, likes to experiment with designing her own home, and loves every minute with her family. Stemper and Associates
RHI Gives Back
We focus our support and donations on three things that are extremely important to us:
ARTS – We frequently donate to local organizations that promote and fund the arts.

ANIMAL WELFARE – Since our team at RHILLC loves animals, and we design pet-friendly rooms, animal-welfare organizations are especially close to our hearts.
EDUCATION – I love mentoring new designers and speaking with students interested in my field.
I’ve been privileged to serve on Tobi Fairley’s Advisory Board for the past two years. In addition to becoming friends with some incredibly talented designers, I have benefitted from their commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry.
Together, we have helped create a safe and welcoming space for everyone in our community.
